Let me start by saying London does not get enough credit for how amazing their food scene is and not to mention how diverse it is! Whatever genre of food you might be feeling, you are sure to find 101 options in London! So for this food guide I just chose some of my favorite places to stop in for a bite!
Kappacasein// Borough Market:
- This stall in Borough Market is a cheese lovers paradise. Here they use a swiss raclette which is basically a block of cheese which they melt off the top and use in your sandwich. So yummy you will be sad it is gone!
Veggie Table// Borough Market:
- Another great stall in Borough Market and its also great for vegans and vegetarians! Disclaimer I am 100% a meat lover, but this veggie burger was to die for so definitely worth a visit!
Friends of Ours// Breakfast:
- Depending on where you are staying this may be slightly out of the way but the dishes do not disappoint! It is a small little cafe that packs a flavorful punch and don't forget to get a cappuccino to go with your breakfast they are delicious! What makes this place even better is the extremely friendly staff!
The Breakfast Club// Breakfast:
- Don't be alarmed the line that forms outside this place may look long, but it goes quite quick! I indulged on the pancakes & berries and the eggs benedict. I am quite the egg benedict snob and this was one if not the best one I have ever had! Not to mention the pancakes were ever so fluffy!! Again at this place the staff were beyond nice and helpful which seems to be a trend in London!
Bea's of Bloomsbury// Afternoon Tea:
- Bea's has an amazing (and affordable) afternoon tea that was equally pleasing on the eyes and stomach! It was so much food that we even had to take some home! They do have multiple locations, but it is reservation only so make sure to plan accordingly. I went to the Bloomsbury location (44 Theobalds Road) which is the original location. It is very small but quaint and if you are going to tea on a budget but still want the full experience this is the place to go! They even have a Gluten free option! (Cost is £26.50 regular or £36.00 with champagne)
