2 days in barcelona, SPain
DAY 1:
- Start of the day with breakfast at Brunch and Cake
- Next hop on the metro on lines 2 or 5 and get off at La Sagrada Familia station.
- La Sagrada Familia is absolutely stunning and I recommend taking one of the guided tours (24,00€)
- They currently have 70% of the project completed but hope to be done by 2026 so I guess you'll just have to plan another trip to see the completed version!
- For lunch I absolutely love going to La Boqueria Market
- The options here are ENDLESS - I have had the most amazing cup of ceviche here, the ham is so fresh, the dried fruit is to die for and even the fruit smoothies! Seriously there is something for everyone here!
- After lunch head to Park Guell (buy tickets before hand, they do require a date and time but the line can be very long if you don't)
- Park Guell is another amazing work of art done by Gaudi and just even strolling through you will be in awe at his work!
- For dinner my absolute favorite tapas bar is called Bilbao Berria. Their sangria is delicious as well :)
DAY 2:
- A nice morning activity is to head to the Picasso Museum
- Or if you aren't much of a museum goer the free walking tours from Sandeman are amazing, fun and so informative! (Just don't forget to tip at the end :)
- For lunch you can head to Bo de B and grab a sandwich and even bring it down to the beach if you are there in the warm months!
- I love to relax at the beach in Barcelona! But just be careful there are many scammers/gypsies that will attempt to steal your belongings if you aren't on guard!
- After the beach/siesta you must go to a restaurant that serves some authentic paella because it is a must when visiting Barcelona!!
- Barcelona has so much to offer but this is just a quick 2 day guide to see some of the highlights of the city! If you are here longer take a day trip to Montserrat only if you aren't afraid of heights! The cable car up can be daunting!
